And I keep a RNT timber in acrylic for a softer sound for in the woods or sweet talking umm in close. I love the way a wood call sounds you just cant beat it. There is 2 calls I keep on my lanyard all the time a RNT short barrel wooden call Its a mid range to loud call very raspy, good call for da rice or open water. But the down side its a harder call to use. To me you can just get more range of sound out of a single reed,and more duckie. Im with Roland C I like the way a single reed sounds.
